Whoo hoo - I got my Economic Stimulus Check. Thank you IRS. Now I have gas to go to work next week and even next month.

What else will I do with my Tax Rebate Check?

Maybe I’ll take a cruise. I think I can get a bargain on a cruise. Hmm maybe not, I might get sea sick.

I could pay off some bills. That would be very responsible, but it would also be very boring. The IRS expects me to help out the economy. It’s my duty to recycle my money buying me something unexpected and frivolous.

Wow - Renting a limo and going sight seeing would be frivolous. I’ve never done that. It’s a thought.

A weekend spa get-away is another great idea. It would be so nice to just relax and be pampered for a weekend. That is definitely worth thinking about.

I’ve always wanted to hop on a plane and take a short flight somewhere just to have lunch and shop. Isn’t that what the movie stars do?

I could always go on a shopping spree and buy me some new clothes and new shoes. That always makes me feel good. But is it indulgent enough? I guess if I buy enough clothes it could be.

I really need a new computer. This one is seriously overdue for retirement. That could be both responsible and indulgent. That sounds like a winner.

I’m not exactly sure what I will spend my check on. As much as I would like to just splurge on something impractical and completely selfish, I know I will be more responsible than that. The extra money is a nice treat anyway.
